The 2020 EMRL National Library Week Art Contest is sponsored by the East Mississippi Regional Library System, headquartered at 116 Water Street Quitman, Mississippi. Sponsor will award one new Amazon Kindle Fire 7 tablet and case to one winner.
Contest Period
The contest begins at 8:00 AM on April 20th, 2019 and ends at 6:29 PM on April 24th, 2019. Entries must be received during the Contest Period.
How to Enter
People of all ages may submit an entry to info@emrl.lib.ms.us OR bsisson@emrl.lib.ms.us OR boneil@emrl.lib.ms.us OR through the EMRL Facebook page. Entries must contain the following information: the contestant's name and contact number. Failure to include all this information will disqualify that entry form. Each person may enter the contest only one time. Contestant must complete their own artwork.
Eligibility
EMRL employees or their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entrants must be a resident of Clarke or Jasper Counties in Mississippi. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding.
Determining Winner and Awarding of Prize
Sponsor will select one contest winner from all eligible entries, no later than April 28th. Winners will be contacted by telephone at the number provided on the entry form no later than May 1st. Winners who cannot be contacted seven (7) days after initial attempt will be disqualified and another random winner will be selected. Winner must pick up their prize at an EMRL branch location (or by means decided by Sponsor in case of closure). By accepting the prize, winner agrees that Sponsor, its respective officers, directors, and employees, shall have no liability for, and shall hold all such parties harmless against damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes or participation in this giveaway. The sponsor reserves the right to post winner’s name and city of residence on our library’s website, social media pages, or in print publicity and other media.
Miscellaneous
The 2020 EMRL National Library Week Art Contest is subject to all applicable laws in the United States, and is void where prohibited. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of the any prizes including, but not limited to, quality, merchant ability or fitness for a particular prize. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
