Join us for "Library Day" at the Mississippi State Capitol on March 14th

Image may contain: 1 person, standing and text

Make sure to join us for “Library Day” at the State Capitol on Tuesday, March 14th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the first floor rotunda. The Mississippi Library Commission, East Mississippi Regional Library System, and libraries throughout the state want to increase awareness about libraries in a collaborative way. There is strength in numbers and we feel that it is important to make our combined voices heard about the importance of our work in Mississippi’s communities. Our legislators would love to hear from our patrons as well about the role that libraries play in your life.
