Our Bay Springs and Stonewall branches will be closed this Wednesday and Thursday, October 9th and 10th, due to a library conference. Our Bay Springs branch will reopen Friday morning at 8:00 AM.

Just a friendly reminder that our Bay Springs, Enterprise, Heidelberg, Pachuta, and Quitman branches are taking signups NOW for the 2023 All Together Now Summer Reading Program! 📚 Children (ages 4-15) MUST BE signed up to participate, so please get your child/children signed up as soon as possible. (NOTE: The Pachuta branch is taking signups for adults too!) 

Our six branches all have different activities scheduled, so please call the librarians listed below for more information. You can sign up and take part in the summer reading program at one branch, two, three, four, five...or all six branches, if you like. The choice is yours, and we can't wait to see you! 😊

It's almost time for the EMRL 2023 Summer Reading Program! 🎉 Our theme this year is All Together Now, which focuses on kindness, friendship, and unity. 

The Enterprise, Heidelberg, Pachuta, and Quitman libraries are taking signups now. The Bay Springs branch will take signups starting Monday, May 22nd, and details about the Stonewall program will come at a later date. Children (ages 4-15) MUST BE signed up to participate, so please get your child/children signed up as soon as possible. (NOTE: The Pachuta branch is taking signups for adults too!)

Agricultural Day at Stonewall Library

Tomorrow is "Agricultural Day" at the Stonewall Public Library Summer Reading Program! We will have Dr. Wayne Porter with the MSU Extension Services speaking about seeds and seed banking, as well as representatives from 4-H to talk about all the great things they do in their local club. Make sure to join us at 2:00 PM!

Stonewall Community Garden Sign-Up

The Stonewall Public Library, along with the Town of Stonewall and the Stonewall Historical Society, would like to invite you to sign up for a spot in the Stonewall Community Garden! All are welcome to use the garden, which will be located behind the city hall, but space is limited, so make sure to claim your spot today!

Bill of Rights Exhibit at Stonewall Library

Be sure to visit the Stonewall Public Library in the new year to view this wonderful pop-up exhibit featuring tons of great information about the Bill of Rights! Our thanks to the Mississippi Humanities Council, the Federation of State Humanities Councils, and the US National Archives for making this exhibit available to Mississippi libraries.

New Business Hours - Effective May 1st

Due to patron demand, we will have new hours on Wednesdays at our Mary Weems Parker Memorial branch in Heidelberg, as well as our Pachuta and Stonewall branches. The new hours will be 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, effective May 1st, making our new weekly business schedule Monday - Thursday 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM at those branches. We hope that these hours will be more convenient for everyone!
