EMRL Revised Holiday Schedule


With the holiday season upon us, all branches of the East Mississippi Regional Library System will be observing the following revised hours of operation in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day:
  • Thursday, December 22, 2016: All branches closed for staff development day
  • Monday, December 26, 2016: All branches closed in observance of Christmas Day
  • Monday, January 2, 2017: All branches closed in observance of New Year's Day

In addition, the Mary Weems Parker Memorial Library in Heidelberg will be closed on the following Saturdays:
  • December 24th & 31st
Make sure to plan accordingly so that you aren't without your favorite books and movies during the holidays. We wish you and your family the best during this holiday season!

UPDATE (9/7/16): Bay Springs Municipal Library Renovation


UPDATE (9/7/16):
Most books and movies are now in their new homes! Currently we are in the process of moving computers and waiting on a few more pieces of furniture to arrive. Then we will have a new children's area, and new computer rooms! We thank you again so much for your patience as we go through this process.

NEW Wednesday Business Hours at Heidelberg, Pachuta, and Stonewall Branches Effective May 1st

Due to patron demand, we will have new hours on Wednesdays at our Mary Weems Parker branch in Heidelberg, as well as our Pachuta and Stonewall branches. The new hours will be 1pm - 6pm effective May 1st, making our new weekly business schedule Monday - Thursday 1pm - 6pm at those branches.

We hope that these hours will be more convenient for everyone!

EMRL Revised Business Hours for April 21st and 25th

The East Mississippi Regional Library System will be observing the following revised hours the next few business days due to a staff development day, and state holiday:

Thursday, April 21st:
Bay Springs Library: 8am - 1pm
Quitman Library: 8am - Noon
The Enterprise, Heidelberg, Pachuta and Stonewall libraries will be closed for the day.

Monday, April 25th:
All EMRL branch locations will be closed in observance of Confederate Memorial Day.

Over the next week or two we are having some work done to the attic at our Quitman branch. Thus you may encounter some unusual noises, and perhaps a mess or two when visiting the library. We apologize for this, however library services will not be affected!

Quitman Senior Care Program at the Quitman Public Library, Tuesday March 15th























Senior Care Quitman, an affiliate of H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital, will be holding an informational session at the Quitman Public Library this coming Tuesday, March 15th at 2:00 pm. Reservations are not required, and all are welcome to attend and learn more about what these great folks have to offer.
