Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Hours

Below you will find the revised hours for the upcoming holiday season for all branches of the East Mississippi Regional Library. Don't forget to visit us ahead of time to meet all of your holiday reading and entertainment needs! 

• Closed Thursday, December 21st, 2017 for a Staff Development Day.
• Closed Monday and Tuesday, December 25th - 26th, 2017 in observance of Christmas.
• Closed Monday, January 1st, 2018 in observance of New Year’s Day.

In addition, the Mary Weems Parker Memorial Library will be closed on Saturday, December 23rd and Saturday December 30th.

Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program

Make sure to visit our Bay Springs or Quitman branches to sponsor a local needy child for Christmas through the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program. Each location has ten children who need sponsors, and donations must be brought in by December 11th. For more information, call 601-764-2291 (Bay Springs) or 601-776-2492 (Quitman). 🎄

Book Club and Kindle Fire Giveaway

Little Free Library in Shubuta, MS

The East Mississippi Regional Library System would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Outreach Health Services, Inc. for partnering with us to offer free books to the Shubuta, Mississippi community in Clarke County!

Summer Reading Program 2017

The 2017 EMRLS Summer Reading Program is almost here! This year's theme is “Build a Better World.” We will be exploring topics including engineering, science, community involvement, and more.

Summer Reading Program events will take place at our Bay Springs, Pachuta, Quitman, and Stonewall branches beginning June 1st. You can see the full calendar by clicking here. All events are completely free of charge.

Children ages 4 – 15 are eligible to register for the program. To register your child today, visit any of the library branches listed above. We can't wait to see you in June!
