The Quitman Public Library would like to express our sincere gratitude to the individual who took the time this past Sunday to care for our American flag. Unbeknownst to us, the strong winds we had on Saturday broke the rope on our flagpole, and because of this our flag was laying on the ground. Thankfully a gentleman saw this, stopped, and picked it up. Thank you so much! ❤️

Stonewall Community Garden Sign-Up

The Stonewall Public Library, along with the Town of Stonewall and the Stonewall Historical Society, would like to invite you to sign up for a spot in the Stonewall Community Garden! All are welcome to use the garden, which will be located behind the city hall, but space is limited, so make sure to claim your spot today!

Library Day at the State Capitol - March 14th

Make sure to join us for “Library Day” at the State Capitol on Tuesday, March 14th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the first floor rotunda. The Mississippi Library Commission, East Mississippi Regional Library System, and libraries throughout the state want to increase awareness about libraries in a collaborative way. There is strength in numbers and we feel that it is important to make our combined voices heard about the importance of our work in Mississippi’s communities. Our legislators would love to hear from our patrons as well about the role that libraries play in your life.
