Summer Reading Program at Pachuta

The Pachuta Public Library will host their summer reading program in July. Librarian Stephanie will have weekly take-and-make kits available for children (ages 4-15), and there will also be a weekly scratch-off ticket reading game for the adults. For every task completed by each child and adult, they will receive an entry into the Amazon Fire tablet giveaway. Patrons MUST BE registered with the Pachuta Library summer reading program in order to participate in the giveaway, so make sure you're signed up! (Drawing will be held the first week of August). The Bay Springs Municipal Library will host their summer reading program in July. Librarians Libby and Marie have planned several fun in-person programs, including visits from Kelby King (4-H Gardener), Patrick Bigbie (WDAM Meteorologist), the Hattiesburg Zoo, and the Natural Science Museum. Storytime at Quitman Library

The kids had such a great time making their fire breathing dragons at today’s storytime at the Quitman Library! 🐲 Mrs. Barb read How To Light Your Dragon by authors Didier Levy and Fred Benaglia. 🐉 Thank you so much to everyone who participated!
