SRP at Bay Springs Library

Today was the last Summer Reading Program for the year at the Bay Springs Municipal Library. Chief Gilmore, Investigator Fred Hennington, and Officer Campbell from the Bay Springs Police Department presented a wonderful program that was geared toward child safety. The officers stressed child safety to the parents and children as well as fingerprinting and a tour of a police cruiser. A good time was had by all! 👮🏼‍♂️❤️👮🏽‍♂️

Sit to Get Fit at Quitman Library

Awesome turnout for the Hattiesburg Zoo!

WOW! We knew there would be a big turnout for our Bay Springs Library summer reading program with the Hattiesburg Zoo, but we never expected 200+ people! 😮 Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who participated! ❤️

A Visit from Smokey the Bear

The Bay Springs Municipal Library had a very special guest last week as part of our summer reading program - the one and only SMOKEY THE BEAR! 🐻 (Don’t forget to join us tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM at the Bay Springs City Hall for a visit from the Hattiesburg Zoo!) 🦁

Museum of Natural Science at Quitman Library

🐊 Alligators, skunks, and turtles - oh my! 🐢 The Quitman Public Library received a special visit today from the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science as part of our summer reading program, and the kids had such a great time! THANK YOU to everyone who participated!
