Food for Fines 2025

🥫It's almost that time again!🥫Starting November 3rd and lasting through December 22nd, the East MS Regional Library System is hosting our annual Food for Fines promotion to help our patrons and our local communities. Every nonperishable food item donated will count as $1 off existing overdue fines, but you don't have to owe fines in order to donate. Every little bit helps those in need in Jasper county and Clarke county. (PLEASE NOTE: Fines for lost and/or damaged items are not included in this promotion). Contact any of our six branch locations for more information.

Quitman School District Community Read

The Quitman Public Library is showing their support for the Quitman School District Community Read, which is taking place this week. Roxanne and Barb are the Great Pumpkin and Linus. Stop by and see them at the library! 🎃 Also, October 27th-30th they will be passing out goodies to the kiddos so make sure you bring your little ones in for a visit and a treat while supplies last! Quitman School District Community Read

The Quitman Public Library would like to encourage our patrons to participate in the Quitman school district's events October 20th - 23rd, which will be promoting the community read book, It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. This project is a wonderful way to engage with the community to be involved by reading just one book together as either a family or member in the area.
