The Bay Springs Municipal Library has several fun events planned in July as part of their summer reading program! Welcome to the EMRL family, Katie!

We at EMRL are excited to introduce you to our new Stonewall librarian, Katie Nichols! Katie is a familiar face for us at EMRL, as a regular patron at the Quitman branch and having volunteered there for several years during their summer reading program. Katie also holds an associate degree in Library and Information Science from Jones College. We hope you’ll stop by the Stonewall library and welcome Katie into the EMRL family! 

Quitman Public Library SRP - Week One

Week one of the Quitman Public Library's Unearth a Story summer reading program featured special guest, Paratech EMS paramedic Brenden O’Neil, who showed/told the children what they do to help people, and the kids were treated to a tour of their new ambulance. 🚑 The children also got to mine for gems, and the younger group made a dragon puppet. Mrs. Barb read How to Light Your Dragon and Miss Roxanne read Do Not Bring Your Dragon to the Library. Thank you SO much to everyone who participated! 🐉
