“Season’s Readings” Christmas Tree

Thanks for a great team effort in making The “Season’s Readings” tree and the entire Library in the F.W. Williams fabulous. Our East Mississippi Regional Library System tree features Mississippi authors (all are not pictured) and decorations that perfectly depict libraries and reading. It’s all part of the 52nd Annual Trees of Christmas at Merrehope where 36 spectacular trees are on display. You’re invited to do a little shopping in the Eugenia Gift Shop and tour two of Meridian’s most historic homes – Greek Revival Merrehope (circa 1858) and Victorian F.W. Williams (circa 1896). The homes are fully decked out for the holidays as Trees of Christmas celebrates “Making Merre with Our Neighbors” – with groups, businesses and individuals from Lauderdale and neighboring counties contributing to this spectacular display. The popular event continues through Dec. 30th --- Information: www.merrehope.com or 601-483-8439 or 601-917-4344. COVID19 Compliant guidelines are in place.
