Women's History Month - Eudora Welty

March is Women's History Month, and we're celebrating it by recognizing some notable female authors who have played a vital role in the writing and publishing industry. Today's spotlight is on Eudora Welty.

📚 Mississippi native Eudora Welty was a novelist, short story writer, and photographer. In 1973, her novel The Optimist's Daughter won the Pulitzer Prize, and she was the first living author to have her works published in the prestigious Library of America series. Welty received numerous awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and she was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2000. 📚
